Japanese sushi and steakhouse, KOI enlisted Scopetheory to create branding and advertising collateral. The brief requested modern flair with influences of Japanese tradition. Scopetheory incorporated the Koi fish in the logo, a highly respected and very symbolic fish that is closely tied to the country's national identity. The koi carp is thought to be a symbol of luck, prosperity, and good fortune within Japan.
